The progressive spiderweb in Egypt -
Infowars: "Arab Spring: Egypt Strikes Back"
The LA Times reported, “Egypt raids foreign organizations’ offices in crackdown. Three U.S. groups are among those raided. Activists say the army is using the ruse of foreign intervention to stoke nationalism and deflect criticism of abuses.” Department agitators from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) subsidary, the National Democratic Institute, standby as Egyptian security forces raid their offices. Despite NED veritably being run by Neo-Conservative, corporate-fascists who have signed PNAC documents declaring their intentions of acheiving and maintaining a century of global hegemony, they and the US State Department would decry Egypt’s crackdown on their insidious activities as a slight against “human rights.”
However, it is no “ruse” as the US-funded “activists” claim. And while the LA Times denies its readership a documented back-story either confirming or denying “activist claims,” understanding the US role in funding sedition in Egypt is essential to understanding why not only are the raids of NGOs justified, but an absolute necessity to protect both Egyptian national sovereignty and international stability. Documented Back-Story of the US-Engineered “Arab Spring” in Egypt (...) >>>

Libertarians should stop the anti Capitalist narrative -
Conservative.Home: "JP Floru: Attacking bankers does not help the free market cause"
Free marketeers are deluding themselves if they believe that their cause will be helped by attacking bankers or the City. This morning, Radio 4 had another shamelessly biased item on “bankers’ bonuses”. This time, the assault was led by John Humphrys. It was peppered with clichés such as “this is the public mood”; “the squeezed middle are fed up”; and “inequality is growing”. Regulation would of course solve all the problems. The Occupy Movement was granted Kim Jong Il-style Messianic Status. It was all put into an historical perspective, making the defeat of capitalism seem all but inevitable. No attempt was made at balancing the debate: all contributors were resoundingly anti-City and anti-capitalist. Nice one, Humphrys. (...) >>>

BigGovt: "Communists Work on a New Improved, Pro-Obama ‘Occupy’ Movement", by Trevor Loudon
While withering under the combined effects of cold weather, public disgust, and the tiniest hint of a backbone by some public authorities, the Occupy Wall Street Movement will not be allowed to die. That is, if one of the movement’s strongest pillars, the Communist Party USA, has its way
What will change though, if the Communist succeed in dominating the movement they have so thoroughly infiltrated, will be a new, more disciplined, less anarchic – even electorally focused “Occupy” movement.
In a report to the National Committee of the Communist Party USA, which met in New York City, Nov. 12-13, 2011, Party National chairman Sam Webb, laid out his analysis of the current political climate , and the role of the “Occupy” movement and the Communist Party in moving the “progressive” movement forward.

Allegations that the lack of adequate police resources to deal with the protests was due to political considerations surfaced almost immediately after word spread that Washington, D.C., 911 operators apparently hung up on Americans For Prosperity event organizers this weekend.
On Friday night, as “Occupy” protesters stormed the DC Convention Center when AFP activists and conservative leaders including billionaire David Koch tried to leave, the conservatives forced to remain inside said there weren’t enough police officers to deal with the violent protesters. AFP organizers had tried to call 911 at least four times asking for more police help, but they say the 911 operators hung up on them. The officers outside the Convention Center, at least according to the “Occupy” protesters’ victims’ accounts to The Daily Caller, weren’t much help either. (...) >>>

Big Government: "#OccupyWallStreet: The Rap Sheet, So Far"
One of the secret weapons the corrupt mainstream media uses in their never-ending quest to Palace Guard for the left is context. For example, when it came to the Tea Party, the MSM was notorious for amplifying a single incident (that was usually a lie) and using it to attempt to smear and define an entire movement. This is what you do when you want to quickly take out a political enemy.
The MSM’s contextual game changes, however, when their desire is to strengthen a movement and give it credibility and room to grow. By dutifully reporting individual incidents but not reporting on the growing scope and size of Occupy Wall Street lawlessness, the MSM is willfully covering up the violence, vandalism, and anti-Semitism that truly does define this movement. Neo ACORN, the usual suspects -
FoxNews: "EXCLUSIVE: ACORN Playing Behind Scenes Role in 'Occupy' Movement", by Jana Winter
The former New York office for ACORN, the disbanded community activist group, is playing a key role in the self-proclaimed “leaderless” Occupy Wall Street movement, organizing “guerrilla” protest events and hiring door-to-door canvassers to collect money under the banner of various causes while spending it on protest-related activities, sources tell FoxNews.com.
The former director of New York ACORN, Jon Kest, and his top aides are now busy working at protest events for New York Communities for Change (NYCC). That organization was created in late 2009 when some ACORN offices disbanded and reorganized under new names after undercover video exposes prompted Congress to cut off federal funds. (...) >>>

Paul Joseph Watson has the missing link between 'Arab Spring' and #OWS: Ahmed Maher
|- Reminder: art work from 'Arab Spring' in Egypt -|
A US government-backed pioneer of the so-called “Arab Spring” in Egypt that eventually resulted in a military dictatorship is now “advising” the Occupy Wall Street protesters in both Washington DC and New York, in another sign that the movement has been subverted by the establishment.
US State Department-funded activist Ahmed Maher “is now giving advice to a new group of protesters: the Occupy Wall Street movement,” reports Wired News. Maher has been “corresponding for weeks” with OWS activists, offering them “practical advice from a successful Egyptian revolutionary,” according to the report. (...) Maher’s April 6 organization had been in New York City for the US State Department’s first “Alliance for Youth Movements Summit” in 2008.
His group then traveled to Serbia to train under the US-funded “CANVAS” organization before returning to Egypt in 2010 with US International Crisis Group (ICG) operative Mohamed ElBaradei to spend the next year building up for the “Arab Spring.” As part of his role in leading the revolt against Mubarak, Maher fraternized with the likes of Zbigniew Brzezinski and George Soros through their involvement in the ICG. Britain's socialist spawn - Who are the UK Revolution's nihilist looters and moochers -
Mail Online: "Years of liberal dogma have spawned a generation of amoral, uneducated, welfare dependent, brutalised youngsters", by Max Hastings
(...) They are an absolute deadweight upon society, because they contribute nothing yet cost the taxpayer billions. Liberal opinion holds they are victims, because society has failed to provide them with opportunities to develop their potential.
Most of us would say this is nonsense. Rather, they are victims of a perverted social ethos, which elevates personal freedom to an absolute, and denies the underclass the discipline — tough love — which alone might enable some of its members to escape from the swamp of dependency in which they live.
Only education — together with politicians, judges, policemen and teachers with the courage to force feral humans to obey rules the rest of us have accepted all our lives — can provide a way forward and a way out for these people.
They are products of a culture which gives them so much unconditionally that they are let off learning how to become human beings. My dogs are better behaved and subscribe to a higher code of values than the young rioters of Tottenham, Hackney, Clapham and Birmingham.
Unless or until those who run Britain introduce incentives for decency and impose penalties for bestiality which are today entirely lacking, there will never be a shortage of young rioters and looters such as those of the past four nights, for whom their monstrous excesses were ‘a great fire, man’. Update on the #ArabSpring in Egypt -
Jewish World Review: "The real Egyptian revolution", by Caroline B. Glick
The coverage of recent events in Egypt is further proof that Western elites cannot see the forest for the trees. Over the past week, leading newspapers have devoted relatively in-depth coverage to the Egyptian military authorities' repressive actions in subduing protesters in Tahrir Square in Cairo, particularly during their large protest last Friday.
That is, they have provided in-depth coverage of one spent force repressing another spent force. Neither the military nor the protesters are calling the shots anymore in Egypt, if they ever were. That is the job of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The proximate cause of last Friday's mass demonstration was what the so-called Twitter and Facebook revolutionaries consider the military's slowness to respond to their demand for ousted President Hosni Mubarak's head on a platter. The military responded by announcing that Mubarak and his sons will go on trial for capital crimes on August 3. (...) >>>

Article on the FB revolt -
Reuters: "EU, IMF expected to judge Greece as protests swell"
European and IMF officials are expected to deliver their verdict this week on Greece's faltering drive to bring its budget deficit under control, but ordinary Greeks have warned that their patience is running thin.
Tens of thousands packed a central Athens square on Sunday in a non-partisan protest to denounce the nation's entire ruling class, but they also directed their anger at the International Monetary Fund and its demands for yet more austerity. (...) But the Greeks who took Syntagma Square, in front of the Greek parliament, on Sunday were a different kind of protesters.
They were families, ranging from the elderly to children, who had no class wars to wage. Prompted by Facebook rather than opposition parties or unions, they vented at Greek politicians and foreign lenders. "We should take responsibility for our own lives," read one banner.
Despite a party atmosphere, the crowd at Sunday's rally -- the biggest in a series of nightly demonstrations on the square for the past five days -- booed, whistled and chanted "Thieves! Thieves" as they pointed at the parliament building. Protesters acknowledged they had been inspired by similar rallies in Spain, which also faces budget and debt problems.
Before the Syntagma Square rallies began, some Spanish protesters had accused ordinary Greeks of being too passive. But on Sunday Ifigenia Argyrou, a 57-year-old insurance consultant, said all that had changed. "People were indignant but they needed a motivation to express that. The Spanish people gave us that motivation," she told Reuters. "We are not sleeping, we are awake. The IMF should get out. There are other solutions without them."
Police put Sunday's crowd at 30,000 although the protesters, who have few formal leaders and are prompted by Facebook, say official figures usually underestimate the size of demonstrations by a wide margin. (...) >>>

It's about deniable intimidation -
Wretchard has a great article out on Pajamas about the role of anarchists in Leftist culture. He has added comment numbers 8 and 18. Time has an article with more general information about the history of anarchism and shows its utter ignorance of conservatism by collating the Tea Party with anarchism -
PJM: "The Crusade of Innocents", by Richard Fernandez
Two days before Christmas package bombs were delivered to the Greek, Chilean and Swiss embassies in Rome allegedly by “an anarchist group, the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire”. Now a motorcycle-bomb has struck a courthouse in Greece in what police suspect is a protest against the trial of the Cells of Fire suspects. Because of a warning call, nobody was hurt. According to USA Today, in an article full of irony, European anarchists are growing more organized as people suffer from declining levels of state welfare. Even more fecklessly, USA Today has described anarchy as a movement within the Left. Can it be? (...) since such catastrophes cannot be the consequences of their own ideology, the problems must be caused by a failure to apply that ideology ruthlessly and thoroughly. The anarchist activity on the extreme Left suggests some within are ready to move onto the next phase: internal rectification.
Rectification is not an electrical term. On the Left it means “power struggle” or purge. In the beginning it will take exactly the form we are witnessing now: a signaling exercise on the Left ostensibly directed at the mythical right but essentially aimed at sending a message to leftist politicians and semi-respectable activists that they haven’t been militant enough. It is an open political letter from one faction to the other. In the case of Greece the message is simple. Keep spending, the hell with austerity. The warnings to get clear of bombs suggests the “anarchists” still regard their targets as broadly fraternal, but the subsequent real explosions say their forbearance will not last forever unless the moderate left gets serious. The USA Today article continued, “”Anarchists-insurrectionists work to try to raise the level of clashes when there are problems’ said Marco Boschi, a criminologist who teaches a course on terrorism at the University of Florence”.
The anarchists themselves are ineffectual but provide the symbols around which the larger Left can rally. (...) In fine anarchists are Red Guards of the European Left, a collection of dupes formed inside the vast and creaky infrastructure of Marxism to advance the interests of one faction against another faction. It is impossible to understand the politics of the Left without grasping that it is all about deniable intimidation. The real problem European anarchism solves is how to send bombs without seemingly sending them, or how to trash the Tory party headquarters in London without really doing it. (...) >>>

The group has long been known in Italy and has a Web site calling for the end of what it says is man's exploitation of fellow man. The Raw Story: "Protesters, police in riot gear face off in Arizona, two dozen arrested"
(...) Civil rights groups marched through Phoenix, the capital of Arizona, to denounce the new law, even though a judge has temporarily stripped it of key powers allowing police to spot check the immigration status of all suspects. Judge Susan Bolton ruled Wednesday that those powers would place a burden on legal resident aliens living in Arizona, where one in three of the 6.6 million people is foreign-born and an estimated 460,000 are illegal immigrants.
Protestors urged schools, town and city governments and local police departments not to comply with the law, which they say amounts to ethnic profiling. Waving Mexican and US flags, the activists marched on the courthouse and the offices of tough county sheriff Joe Arpaio, brandishing banners demanding "Stop the Raids, No More Deportations" and "Stop Targeting Immigrants Now."

BBC: "Athens braced for anniversary of fatal police shooting"
Riot police in Athens have made scores of arrests ahead of the first anniversary of the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy. More than 6,000 officers are on the streets of the Greek capital to avoid a repeat of the riots that followed the teenager's killing by police last year. Correspondents describe the atmosphere in the city as tense.
Dozens of schools and universities across Greece have been occupied by students ready to mark the uprising. On Saturday, two cars were set alight in the Exarchia district of Athens, where last December's fatal shooting took place. To head off trouble, riot police carried out a series of raids across the city, arresting more than 150 people, reports said.
Greece's government has warned it will have a zero tolerance policy towards violence.
"We want to send a clear message, we won't tolerate a repeat of the violence and terror scene in central Athens, we won't hand Athens to vandals," said Citizen Protection Minister Mihalis Chrysohoidis. (...) >>>

The Combined Belgian and Dutch MSM: "Riots in Brussels, precinct assaulted" (here's one)
This is the state of affairs in Europe. A police precinct is assaulted, officers are wounded, and the entire press corps prints the same prefabricated narrative, carefully omitting the fact that it involves Moroccans. One actually has to go the site of Extreeeme Right political party Vlaams Belang to discover that fact. Comments on Dutch pomo site Fok.nl are quite cynical: "the Swedes again, eh", and "terrible, the Finns!" (it's like wartime censorship, people are starting to autocorrect to get to the real story). The basics of the official - politically correct narrative - are as follows:
- Boy has been provoking police for days.
- Finally last night, they arrest him.
- Family and friends (some 60 people) assault precinct.
- Riots spread to streets nearby.
- Nine officers are wounded; one was hit in the back with a gas tank.
- Some 100 policemen, 2 water cannons and 1 chopper are required to quell the rioting.

Update December 10, 2010
A German translation of "The Coming Insurrection" has now become available. The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the Süddeutche Zeitung are besides themselves with enthousiasm! The left-wing paper taz, however, describes the pamphlet, as 'decidedly right-wing'. Read it all in Signandsite.
The tactic revealed ... it's called Black Bloc specified as extreme Left by ideological pinheads. Actually Fascists is more like it. The Germans get it:
Bild: "The report for the Protection of the Constitution gave several other warnings"
There was a marked rise in the number of radical right-wing crimes - up 15.8 per cent to 19,894, of which more than 1,000 were violent. Particularly dangerous are the ‘autonomous Nationalists’ who gather at demonstrations as the so-called ‘Black bloc’ and cause violent clashes with left-wing demonstrators. (...) >>>

Radio France Internationale: "Press review 17 March 2009"
As we open today's papers, we see that French forces are doing battle on two fronts: in the now-infamous suburban slums and in Afghanistan where death tolls are rising in the battle against the Taliban. Le Monde headlines this morning with an article highlighting the increasing use of firearms against police officers in the ghettos surrounding paris, commonly referred to as the banlieue.
Even though the most recent incident proved to be relatively tame - ten police officers were hospitalised with minor gunshot wounds after a clash with youth in Mureaux - this seems to be part of a frightening trend. One of the interesting points to note here is that when the French banlieue came to the world's attention with three weeks of rioting in late 2005, only one person was injured over the course of those firey weeks.
And that seems to have been the tacitly acceptable way to riot in France - burn some cars, throw some Molotov cocktails. As long as no one gets hurt, it's all just another evening of rioting fun. The turning point came in November 2007, when rioting in Villiers-le-bel led to 82 police injuries - many due to shot gun wounds. It was a shock to most people when it came out that the police were drawn to a location by a fire, then ambushed by masked youth.
It's a tactic which seems to be be gaining in popularity as the police in Mureaux were drawn to the scene by a burning car, then fired on by a man posted on a balcony, who "couldn't be arrested", the article says. (...) >>>

Hurd on the Web: "Swedish Leftists and Their Muslim Allies", by Dale Hurd
In my TV piece for CBN News from Malmö, Sweden about the rise in Muslim influence, I show leftists and anarchists marching alongside Muslims and Arabs who are chanting a death threat to Jews from the Koran. The Muslims are chanting "Khaybar Khaybar ya Yahud, jaysh Muhammad saufa ya'ud. The translation is "Khaybar, Khaybar o Jews, the army of Muhammad will return". Khaybar refers to a Jewish town on the Saudi peninsula wiped out by Mohammed in 628 A.D. The Muslim Hadith says that Muhammad killed the men in Khaybar and took the women and children as slaves. (Below is more raw footage of the march in Malmö against the Sweden-Israel Davis Cup Match on Saturday, March 7. It was not shot or posted to YouTube by CBN).
As I have reported before, anti-Semitism experts such as Manfred Gerstenfeld, Robert Wistrich and Andrei Markovits believe hatred of Israeli policies by the European Left has morphed into full-blown anti-Semitism. The fuel for it is ridiculously one-sided coverage of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. You do see occasional statements from leftist political leaders that they object to Israel, but also oppose anti-Semitism. So, why march with anti-Semites? And where is the condemnation from Sweden's Leftist establishment for Muslims chanting death threats? >>>

LiveNews: "Bombs hurled as 300 youths brawl in Darwin"
Police in Darwin have warned they're taking a zero tolerance approach after three separate incidents across the city. Up to 300 youths brawled at Casuarina Shopping Centre, while homemade bombs were let off at two different sites in the city yesterday. About 10.45am (CST) one of the bombs was hurled at a building near La Grande apartments on Knuckey Street, then about 1.30pm a second incident took place on Mitchell Street. (...) >>>
