Suspend democracy meme (update) -

Democracy maybe used rhetorically almost synonymously with socialism, it isn't part of the socialist bloodstream. It is a superficial construct! It can easily be disposed of .

Note also Peter Orszag's 'peace is absence of opposition' remark, calling the Republicans thwarting the socialist agenda, gridlock worthy of "less democracy" -

Update Sept. 30, 2011

Canada Free Press: "The Re-Election of Obama by suspended elections?", by Judi McLeod

The fool proof way for Barack Obama to guarantee his re-election would be to suspend the 2012 election. Thanks to North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue, suspending elections is an idea whose time has come. Perdue’s proposal dropped like the proverbial bombshell at a Rotary Club event was offered as a means for politicians to gain time to tackle crippling unemployment and a stagnant economy. (...)

Seeing Obama golfing, holidaying and seeming not overly concerned about tanking in the polls, freedom lovers have been waiting almost three years now for the other shoe to drop. They know at heart that for a Marxist ideologue like Obama, the strategy of suspending elections fits. How many sincerely believe that Obama has been waiting to exploit the right calamity to at first impose martial law, then suspend the 2012 election?

The mainstream media will soon be raising the question: Why bother campaigning if there’s not going to be an election? The answer to that question fits the plan of any would-be dictator: Obama is not out there campaigning, but staying in touch with the people to sow seeds for the coming revolution. Obama needs more time for the total Transformation of America and Governor Bev Perdue may have paved the way for it to happen. Rather than get used to it, patriots should be seeking legal ways to ensure it never happens. >>>

Politics Wires: "N.C. Gov. Perdue's remark strikes nerve with GOP pundits"

Democratic Gov. Bev Perdue has long had a reputation for shoot-from-the-hip remarks that leave her audiences shaking their heads, part of her folksy, I'm-just-a -coal-miner's-daughter persona. But none of her previous comments hit a political nerve like her startling suggestion this week that Congress suspend its elections next year to concentrate on fixing the economy. (...) >>>

#Uncut, and the #ArabSpring is moving to Spain. While Egypt is collapsing and the Spanish socialist party was defeated by a land slide in municipal elections over the weekend, leftists are rallying for *cough* "better living standards and a fairer system of democracy", the latter meaning, more welfare state and socialism -

NewZeal: "Spain Ripe for Revolt?"

Protests against Spain’s economic crisis gained fresh momentum, as social networking fueled demonstrators to take to the streets of Puerto del Sol plaza, with the local elections just days away. The nature of this peaceful protest, echoes the pro – democracy rallies that has revolutionized Egypt.

The rallies have been instigated by the major economic crisis that has affected Spanish citizens, with the working-class being most affected. Spain’s unemployment level has reached a new eurozone high of 21.3 percent in the first quarter of the year, with a record 4.9. million people out of work. (...) >>>

Proof has been uncovered the Left is still plotting the collapse of capitalism and the middle class. In the footage a former SCIU public sector union bozo, Steve Lerner is explaining how a private sector variety of the Cloward-Piven tactic will do the job.

Politeia: "Civilization Uncut"

The scenes around the capitol building in Madison, Wisconsin this week are symbolic for the short lived upsurge in new found civility in political debate, as called for by President Obama himself after the ferocious attack on Congresswoman Gifford, which was hastely put at the feet of the Tea Party. Very civilized, that was!

Faster than Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker could say collective bargaining rights, Obama's army of unions and Organizers for America descended on the capitol, while the Democratic cohort of representatives went into hiding just over the border in Illinois. It had all the trappings of a comedy caper. (...)

Banks that have been bailed out are specifically targeted as 'double outrage'. Also public services, earmarked for budget cuts - libraries for instance - are being picketed and barricaded. Barclays Bank and Vodafone outlets ( video) were targets of 'spontaneous' actions last year in the UK. Great care is taken to create the perception of grassroots actions.

Indymedia is especially proud of the paradigm shift, of the reframing they've attained here: the unwashed are no longer on the defense as looters and moochers, but go on the offense against the people who're "really behind the crisis", and who "caused the deficits by not paying enough taxes".

The self appointed champion of injustice (any variery), agit prop film maker Michael Moore meanwhile is actually calling for war. (...) >>>

The return of Cloward-Piven -

Frances Fox-Piven is again plotting violent revolution through agitation and overloading the wellfare system -

PJM: "The Second Time is Farce: Frances Fox Piven Calls for a new Cloward-Piven Strategy for Today", by Ron Radosh

Writing in The Nation magazine on May 2, 1966, sociologists Richard Cloward and his wife Frances Fox Piven published what was to become in later years one of the most famous and influential of leftist articles. Titled “The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty,” the two socialist intellectuals developed a new so-called “crisis strategy” — that of trying to use the existing welfare system to create chaos that would weaken the corporate capitalist state and eventually foment revolution. “Discover the Networks” has a good summary of their thesis. (...)

An effective movement of the unemployed will have to look something like the strikes and riots that have spread across Greece in response to the austerity measures forced on the Greek government by the European Union, or like the student protests that recently spread with lightning speed across England in response to the prospect of greatly increased school fees. (my emphasis.) What she is calling for is nothing less than the chaos and violence engulfing Europe. (...) This time, however, ACORN is collapsing, and no George Wiley and NWRO even exists to implement her strategy. (...) >>>

The democrat infestation - A heartfelt commentary worth reading here -

New Zeal: "Communist Party Leader on Using the Democrats"

Joe Sims is co-editor of the Communist Party USA newszine Peoples World. In a recent article in the Communist Party theoretical journal Political Affairs, Sims takes to task, another comrade, C.J. Atkins , who had effectively advocated dumping the "communist" label, in order to be able to work more effectively inside the Democratic Party.

Sims acknowledges that working with and inside the the Democrats "will be an area of engagement for those wanting to make a difference." He even acknowledges the possibility that the communists may be able to "capture" the Democratic Party entirely. But Sims warns, it would be dangerous to dissolve entirely into the Democrats. Communists must keep their options open, working both inside and outside the Democratic Party as circumstances dictate. (...) >>>

History does not simply repeat itself, wrote Karl Marx. It often happens that the first round of a phenomenon is a tragedy; the second round is a farce. So is it today as millions of young people devote themselves to extreme left-wing causes, including the destruction of their own countries, democracy, and liberty all in the name of some utopia that will never be attained and whose promotion will make human life worse.

The Minnesota farmer-labor nexis -

NewZeal: "Mark Ritchie File 5: Mark Ritchie's Communist Party Connection Exposed"

Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie is regarded as a "non-party friend" by the Communist Party USA. So highly does the Communist Party regard Mr. Ritchie, that he has been allowed to attend an high level "not to be publicized" Party meeting in Minneapolis.

Some of the Communist Party members at this meeting, later supported Ritchie in his Secretary of State election campaigns. One of them, labor leader Mark Froemke, went on to support two of Ritchie's Democratic - Farmer - Labor - Party colleagues - Al Franken and Mark Dayton in their respective election campaigns.

As Minnesota Secretary of State, Mark Ritchie's job includes overseeing the State's electoral recounts. Libertarian Advocate: "Ottmar Edenhofer, Co-Chair of UN's IPCC Admits That "Climate Policy" Really is Just a Big Redistributionist Theft Scam"

(...) In an interview with Germany's NZZ Online, Edenhofer freely admitted that the goal of Climate Policy is to transfer wealth from the West to the Third World by imposing economy eviscerating carbon caps on the West. (...) Basically it's a big mistake to discuss climate policy separately from the major themes of globalization. The climate summit in Cancun at the end of the month is not a climate conference, but one of the largest economic conferences since the Second World War.

(...) developed countries have basically expropriated the atmosphere of the world community. But one must say clearly that we redistribute de facto the world's wealth by climate policy. Obviously, the owners of coal and oil will not be enthusiastic about this. One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole. (...) >>>

CFP: "Obama: Center of the Soros System?", by William R. Mann

Is Barack Obama the center of the “Soros System?” Some, including Obama himself, think he is a messiah, and George Soros thinks of himself as a god.

Sorry to disappoint: Obama is no messiah. He is just one of the many International Puppets that George Soros funds. And George Soros is no god, he is just one more dangerous narcissistic sociopath, or worse. Barack Obama and his Progressive Democrat Party organs are smaller smaller potatoes than he thinks that they are. Barack Obama is but one “tool” that George Soros has selected to destroy his latest chosen victim, the United States of America. Do you want to learn about who is pulling the strings of this Administration and so many of the agitators in our country? Or, do you prefer to think this is all Right-wing hyperbole? I shall endeavor to open the book on the amalgamation of all failed Left-wing organizations into orbits in the Soros System. Is Soros a Communist? ... a Nazi? ... a Fascist? ... or just a Progressive [whatever that is]?

Let history be a witness. The Venona Papers can be one starting point to provide that verification. Venona was the top-secret U.S./U.K. effort to decrypt intercepted messages sent in the 1940s by KGB [Soviet Intelligence] and GRU [Soviet Military Intelligence] agents. The Vincenton Post: "Marxism in America"

In this video titled “Marxism in America”, General Jerry Boykin talks about his background and training in understanding Marxist insurgencies and how this parallels current government actions.

Boykin said he studied Marxist insurgency, which was part of his military training, saying that the things he knows “that have been done in Marxist insurgency are being done in America today.” He then compared the rise of Fidel Castro in Cuba to the nationalization of major companies of the American economy by the Obama administration. “Folks, that’s what the bailouts were. Nationalizing major sectors of the economy,” he said.

“The second thing they’ve done is that they redistributed wealth,” said the General. He mentioned about Medicaid, Medicare and the ObamaCare, which are being used to redistribute wealth in America. “Health care is nothing but a redistribution of wealth,” he said.

“The third thing they do is that they discredit the opposition,” Boykin said. He then mentioned about the Department of Homeland Security memorandum that went around the law enforcement all over the country. The memorandum states that the future threats to America are “right-wing Christian groups, pro-life groups, Second Amendment groups, and returning veterans.” (...)

“The fourth thing that have been done in the model is censorship,” Boykin said. A proposal has been made to censor the Internet and control online activities. Under a new bill titled “Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act”, US President Barack Obama would be granted powers to seize control of and even shut down the internet. (...)

Boykin also said that the U.S. media are controlled by liberal elites who set political agenda and who protect the Obama administration from public criticisms. (...) Boykin also talks about “hate crimes” being used to destroy free speech in the United States, as well as the concerted efforts of the government to control gun ownership. (...) >>>

The symptoms of oppression: paranoia and conspiracy and a perceived enemy -

PJM: "Venezuela a Hotbed of Anti-Semitic Rantings by the Governing Elites"

Did you know that in the late 1960s, the Bilderberg Club decided to use drugs and big outdoor rock concerts to stop the increasing discontent among the population? In order to prevent people from joining the civil rights movement or paying attention to Vietnam, the CIA and Britain’s MI6 placed the Beatles before the American audience.

If you are not familiar with this course of history, you are probably not a regular reader of the Reflexiones del Comandante en Jefe. In two of his journalistic columns, Fidel Castro recently included lengthy quotes from the Lithuanian writer and conspiracy theorist Daniel Estulin. Conspiracy theories are wildly popular among Latin American leftists: They have become to them what Lenin was to Soviet communists. Frequently they are mixed with anti-Semitism. (...) >>>

Dr. Donald Berwick of the Harvard Medical School does not like free enterprise, but he does like rationing. Two years ago, in England, he delivered a talk celebrating the 60th birthday of Great Britain’s National Health Service, the bureaucracy that runs that nation’s socialized medical system. He apparently entertained some fear that day that the Brits might turn back to free enterprise. The following are two interviews on Front Page with Robert Buchar, an associate professor and author of the Cinematography Program at Columbia College in Chicago. A political refugee from former Czechoslovakia, he is the producer of the documentary, Velvet Hangover, which is about Czech New Wave filmmakers, how they survived the period of “normalization” and their reflections on the so-called Velvet Revolution of 1989.

He is the author of the new book, And Reality be Damned… Undoing America: What The Media Didn’t Tell You About the End of the Cold War and Fall of Communism in Europe. The book is based on a documentary feature he is currently working on, The Collapse of Communism: The Untold Story.

The first interview is dealing with Yuri Andropov, who was the actual inventor of Glasnost and Perestroika. He also presided over the re-imaging and popularization of communist leaders in the eyes of the West.

The second interview is about Czechoslavakia and the staged 'velvet revolutions' which were also KGB controlled stagesets. Today the KGB/FSB is merged with organized crime syndicates and has amassed gargantuan amounts of money all over the world. Spies, sleepers, moles and handlers are deeply infiltrated. The '10' just caught in the US (one at large on Cyprus) are just the tip of the iceberg, Panthergate may be the blueprint of their release. Update: on the other hand, there's also the swap!

Robbservations: "Strategy and Tactics"

With all the controversy over the DOJ quashing of a criminal case that was won against New Black Panthers who engaged in "mob" type control of Philadelphia polling places (eg. "DOJ Slimes Whistleblower Adams in Panthergate Case"), keep your eye on the ball ... Panthergate is the tip of the coming iceberg in terms of what Obama, Holder and the rest of their ilk will attempt.

Well before the last election, I was one of the first to raise the alarm that Obama and his people were actually communists, not simply "very Left" or "Socialist".

That got me a lot of skepticism if not outright eye-rolling. I'm not getting that anymore, especially since Beck and many others took up the charge to inform people. Now I'm going out on a limb again with a suspicion that has been growing since that time. As I said in something I posted at,
"What will be telling in the months to come is how the SVR agents’ cases are disposed of. If you see them getting whitewashed in the manner of the new Black Panther case, you may reasonably suspect that Obama doesn’t want them prosecuted for other reasons. (...) >>>

KeyWikiBlog: "Communists use Democrats to destroy “ultra-right”

The Republican Party and the “Tea Party Movement” need to understand that their real enemy is not the Democrats, But the people behind the Democrats. One of the major forces behind the Democrats is the almost forgotten and hugely underestimated Communist Party USA. The Communist regard the Democrats as little more than a tool, a conduit for their own agenda. This quote from an October 2007 Young Communist League board report, by YCL leader Erica Smiley illustrates my point:
But even though the ultra-right is in retreat, kicking and screaming and even calling Hillary Clinton’s half public-half private healthcare proposal “socialist”, they still haven’t been defeated. As Communists, we have to finish the task of isolating the ultra-right and completely removing them from power—using the Democrats to finish the job. (...) >>>

NewsBusters: "Media Ignore La Raza Immigration Protester Fomenting Violent Revolution", by Lachlan Markay

Which is more newsworthy: hearsay accounts of racial slurs unsupported by video evidence of the alleged incident, or video of a protester calling for violent revolution against the federal government, the imposition of socialism, and the annexation of the Southwestern states for Mexico?

If you chose the latter, you're probably not a journalist of the self-proclaimed "mainstream" variety. The legacy media has been largely silent on video of Los Angles schoolteacher at a La Raza protest of the recently-passed Arizona immigration law literally calling for the violent overthrow of the United States government.

Miami Herald: "US slave ship replica sails into Old Havana harbor"

A U.S. replica of the 19th-century Cuban slave ship "Amistad" glided through the millpond-calm waters of Havana Bay on Thursday, a reminder of the countries' intertwined past and a gesture toward a brighter shared future. Built in Connecticut, the black-hulled, two-masted re-creation of the schooner, whose name means "Friendship," flew the American and Cuban flags - as well as the blue flag of the United Nations. It was one of the few times a ship under the Stars and Stripes has called on the island in 51 years of estrangement since Fidel Castro took power. As it neared shore, the crew of 19 Americans lowered the U.S. flag and ran Cuba's up the main mast.
